Tony Brausen Joins Mosaic as Vice President of Finance

PLYMOUTH, Minn., April 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Mosaic Company (NYSE: MOS) announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed Anthony T. Brausen as Vice President -- Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Brausen will lead Mosaic's global Controller organization and his responsibilities will include financial reporting, accounting and financial planning and analysis.

Brausen joined Mosaic on February 27, 2006. Prior to joining Mosaic, Brausen served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Tennant Company (NYSE: TNC). Tony also spent 11 years in several key financial leadership roles with International Multifoods Corporation and eight years with KPMG.

Brausen is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Financial Executives International, the National Investor Relations Institute, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting from the University of St. Thomas.
